MEMBER GUIDANCEAND SUPPORT POLICY
In order to achieve the IWH Professional Body vision, its staff, the NEC as well as its recognised Skills Development Providers (SDP’s) will ensure the implementation of procedures for member entry, guidance and support.
The procedures include requirements relating to the following:-
TRAINING FORMS FOR THE WORK AT HEIGHT INDUSTRY POLICY
Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande, addressed the CEOs of all SETAs at the Inter-SETA Forum on the 7th of December 2010. The Minister used the opportunity of his first formal address to all SETA leaders to outline his vision for the future of the sector education and training authorities.
Certification shall be conducted in accordance with SAQA regulations and shall be accurate, recorded and approved by the Skills & Ratification Committee in order to comply with SAQA regulations. By virtue of the registration of IWH Professional Body as a professional body, in terms of SAQA
This criteria and guidelines document is intended to ensure consistency, fairness and business efficiency with respect to the CPD process. It should be followed with due care and accuracy and all appropriate data must be recorded and saved for audit purposes.
REGISTRATION OF LNQ PROGRAMS POLICY
The IWH Rules and Regulations Committee are tasked with dealing with all grievances received, and has designated the IWH CEO/Secretariat as the contact person(s) and facilitator(s) for all grievances.
REGISTRATION OF BASIC SAFETY AND FAMILARISATION TRAINING
A Mobile Elevating Working Platforms (MEWP) is a potentially dangerous working tool and therefore an employee need to be made aware of the potential dangers and how to avoid it.
The IWH is a non-profit organisation. Its logos are the exclusive property of the Institute and may only be used in a manner that furthers the Institute’s mission. The following policy sets out the terms and conditions for the appropriate and permitted uses of the logos.
